EMAIL [email protected] FOR QUESTIONS
Will there be swimming assessments? If your child is new to the club, is 5 to 8 years old, and you are unsure whether they are ready for our summer program, please email our Registrar at [email protected]  to arrange an assessment.

What is the summer program? Our summer program is our fun, full-time season for all 3 of our sports - swimming, water polo and artistic swimming.
  1. Swimming - Swimmers build stroke technique, improve all four strokes, and develop competitive skills such as starts, turns, and finishes. On weekends, swimmers may compete in local swim meets. Newer swimmers may also take part in development meets held on select Wednesdays.
  2. Water Polo - Athletes build technical skills and game play through practices, scrimmages, and tournaments.
  3. Artistic Swimming - Athletes work on figures and routines and may participate in competitions.
Families have opportunities to build friendships through social events and fundraising activities. The season also includes the Fraser South Regional Championships and members who qualify will move on to the BCSSA Provincial Championships.

Can I pay by installments? We understand that paying all fees at once, including registration, volunteer, fundraising, and BCSSA insurance fees, can be difficult. At checkout, you can choose to pay in full or by installments.

I registered 2 or more children and looks like I will be charged more than one volunteer fee. Volunteer fees are charged once per family. What should I do? Please email the Registrar at [email protected] for a code to use at checkout. Because of the different program options and family situations, the registration system cannot always apply family fee limits correctly.

I registered 3 or more children and looks like I will be charged extra volunteer and fundraising fees. Volunteer fees are charged once per family, and fundraising fees are capped at two per family. What should I do? Please email the Registrar at [email protected] for a code to use at checkout. Because of the different program options and family situations, the registration system cannot always apply family fee limits correctly.

Can I get a refund if I want to quit? As a non-profit organization, Sunfish plans its budget based on expected registration. For that reason, members may withdraw from the program at any time, but registration fee refunds are only available during the first week of the season. Registration fees are not refundable after May 18, 2026. Refunds requested on or before May 18, 2026, will be prorated and subject to a $50 administration fee. Note: BCSSA insurance fees are paid directly to BCSSA and are non-refundable once the season starts.
