summer 2021 SCHEDULE

Sunfish is currently drafting it's first Return to Competition Plan in conjunction with a revised Return to Pool Safety Plan for the North Delta Outdoor Pool. BCSSA has confirmed there will be competition this summer; however, it is still early to forecast specifics of the summer program as we are all waiting for further information from BC Public Health (PHO), City of Delta and ViaSport.
Pending provincial health restrictions, Sunfish is committed to working with all relevant governments and organizations to run an interactive summer program that would include elements of competition (in-house, virtual meet, 2-club cohort), conditioning and social interaction.
For the time being, we know parents are concerned about our summer program so we have attached practice schedules for comparison to see how practices were scheduled last summer vs previous summers:

- Summer 2020 Official Practice Schedule to give an idea of how practices were scheduled - conducted weekly practice times and Saturday unofficial time trials, water polo practice scrimmages
- Summer 2020 (pre-covid) Practice Schedule to meet a typical competitive program (i.e. continual swim meets / competitions / tournaments; social events; fundraising dates, etc.)

‐ Programs will be NOT be held on: May 24 (Victoria Day), July 1 (Canada Day), August 2 (Civic Holiday)
‐ All sessions will continue to have limited spaces
- Members are encouraged to bring their own swim boards and fins
‐ BCSSA Registration Fee of $45 is required for all registrants.
